Joist replacement method

In the design of reinforced concrete structure transformation, the original structure and foundation often cannot meet the functional requirements after the transformation, and often there are situations such as insufficient bearing capacity or the foundation cannot meet the design requirements. The newly added column uses joists to support the newly poured concrete column due to the existence of the original independent column foundation. After the new column is completed, the old column is removed. The method of replacing columns with joists can well solve the problem of insufficient bearing capacity.
